This course is for English language teachers who have at least Pre-Intermediate 1 (A2) level of English.


About This Course



The Classroom Language course focuses on English for the classroom. It aims to develop your confidence and skills in teaching English in English and giving you opportunities to reflect on and develop your ELT methodology.



Course Outline



The course is 30 hours long and it can be taken part-time over 5 weeks during term time or full-time over 1 week during the summer or winter holidays.


By the end of the course, you will be better able to do the following in English in their classrooms,following areas:


  • Starting and finishing the lesson
  • Giving instructions
  • Asking questions and eliciting
  • Using classroom management language
  • Correcting students
  • Presenting new language
  • clearly Developing confidence in using English in the classroom
  • Giving an accurate, clearly spoken model for students Using L1 appropriately

You will be given a booklet of materials as part of the course. This is included in the course fee.
